Ubisoft promises that 'more details about a the single player campaign will be shared at a later date,' so hopefully the company will clear things up sooner rather than later. Skull and Bones having a single player mode would also be massively useful to fans who need to get familiar with the new IP's ship-sailing gameplay.

While great naval gameplay was important, the storylines behind those high seas adventures were a key factor too.
